Setting up a connector
How to connect Sophie to your existing tools, step by step.
Setting up a connector
Setting up a connector lets Sophie securely reach a tool you already use — like your CRM, calendar, or document storage. The process is short and you can disconnect any connector at any time.
Step 1: Open Connectors
From the left-hand menu, click Connectors. You'll see a list of available connectors.
Step 2: Browse available connectors
Each connector card shows the name of the tool and a short description of what it does. Find the one you'd like to connect.
Step 3: Click Connect
Click Connect on the connector you want to set up. Sophie will walk you through the rest.
Step 4: Authorize the connection
You'll be asked to sign in to the other tool (if you aren't already) and approve Sophie's access. Review what information Sophie is requesting, then approve the connection.
A few things to know:
- Sophie only asks for the access needed to help you — never more.
- You can review or remove this access at any time from the Connectors page or inside the other tool.
Step 5: Confirm it's working
After you approve, Sophie will confirm the connection is live. The connector card will show a Connected status. Depending on the connector, Sophie may take a moment to start pulling in your information.
Managing connectors
Once a connector is set up, you can:
- View its status on the Connectors page.
- Disconnect it anytime by clicking Disconnect on the connector card.
- Reconnect if a connection drops — Sophie will notify you if a connector needs attention.
When something doesn't work
If a connector shows an error or stops working:
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting it.
- Make sure your account on the other tool is still active.
- Reach out to [email protected] if the issue continues.
